About me

With nearly a decade of design experience, I started my career in interior design, where I laid the roots of my passion for creating thoughtful, user-centered designs. While my work shifted from the physical to the digital space, the principles remain the same: form follows function, and storytelling is key. My background gave me a keen eye for design and an understanding of how to craft an interface that not only looks good but also works seamlessly for its users.

In July 2023, I relocated to St. Louis from Chicago but continue working remotely for the same Chicago-based company, where I’ve been focused on SaaS and PIM applications for the past four years. Before that, I spent a year freelancing, gaining exposure to a diverse range of projects that sharpened my problem-solving skills.

SaaS and PIM projects come with their own set of complexities, often driven by data constraints and technical limitations. I’ve learned to navigate these, prioritizing cost-effective, reusable design solutions and collaborating closely with developers to ensure feasibility.

I love the variety and complexity of design problems. Unlike the more linear nature of interior design or other types of applications, these projects require constant iteration. I start with wireframes, validate them against the data model, refine core features for efficiency, test with users, and continue iterating. It’s this dynamic, problem-solving approach that keeps me excited and engaged every day.
